About Kirk

Experienced fundraiser and non-profit operations expert with a background in mathematics and IT, currently running a team of data scientists who work to help charities raise more money for their missions.

I have managed teams in:
-Annual Giving / Direct Response
-Monthly / Recurring Giving
-Mid-level Giving
-Online and Social Giving
-Data and Analytics
-Prospect Research
-Non-profit Merchandising
-Donations Processing
-Stewardship and Donor Relations

I am also well versed in CRA regulations for charities and AGLC regulations for charitable raffles, and have a fundamental understanding of major giving, gift planning, event fundraising, crowdfunding and gaming fundraising.

At STARS, I helped increase annual giving revenue by 30% over three years, to just under $6M in gross revenue. I also developed modeling for the home lottery program, allowing us to make adjustments that increased revenue by over $3M and will continue to help drive additional revenue annually.

I spent over 8 years as a consultant working with over 75 charities in Canada and the US, and I have a unique understanding of how charities operate and fundraise effectively. Through process changes, systems changes, and analysis, we helped these charities fundraise better and develop more efficient internal processes.
